A classroom timer everyone can follow

Give independent work, small-group discussions and classroom transitions a clear endpoint. Set the duration, name the activity and expand the timer on your classroom display. The large digits and shrinking progress bar give students two ways to follow the remaining time.

  1. Choose a duration for the activity and edit the label above the countdown.
  2. Check the alarm volume, or switch End sound off for quiet activities.
  3. Enter fullscreen, then start the countdown when the group is ready.

A few things to know.

Can I project the timer?

Yes. Open the page on the device connected to your display or projector, then use fullscreen. This version runs on that device; it does not remotely control a second screen.

Can I repeat a classroom activity?

Enable Repeat timer to start the same duration again automatically at the end. Leave the page open and the device awake.

Is there a visual version?

Yes. The visual timer shows a shrinking colored circle as well as the remaining minutes and seconds.
